Custom Plush Toys,From Your Design To Production

Orui Toys develops custom plush toys and custom stuffed animals from your artwork, reference or physical sample. Explore product formats, discuss materials and details, and plan sampling before a bulk order.

Our custom plush service is built around development for brands, retailers and promotional projects. Start with the design you have and the quantity you are considering; the product specifications and order conditions are assessed together.

01 / Start where you are

What Are You Bringing To The Project?

You do not need every production detail to begin a conversation. Your starting material tells us what needs to be clarified before a custom plush sample can be developed.

I Have Artwork

Send the clearest views available, including the front, side and back when you have them. Indicate the intended size, colours and features that must stay recognizable.

Next discussion: turning the drawing into a sewable shape, including details that may need adjustment at the chosen size.

I Have A Sample Or Reference

Share photographs, approximate dimensions and the changes you want to make. Explain whether the reference is for shape, fabric, feel or a particular detail.

Next discussion: which characteristics to retain or change, and whether a physical sample is needed for assessment.

I Have An Early Idea

Describe the product, intended audience and purpose. A simple sketch and a few relevant references can help explain your direction.

Next discussion: the information needed for a workable brief. Original character creation, design fees and ownership are separate points to agree.

Use designs and references that you own or have permission to develop. A 3D file can help explain appearance, but a plush product still needs its own pattern and material decisions.

What Kind Of Custom Plush Are You Planning?

Custom plushies can take the form of a character, an animal, a doll or a soft accessory. Choose the closest format below, then discuss the structure, size and finish your project needs.

These images are design-and-sample references from our product materials. They illustrate possible formats; they are not a stock catalogue or a promise that another customer’s design can be reused.

03 / Make the details work together

What Can Be Customized?

Custom made plush toys bring together shape, fabric, decoration and finishing. Each choice affects the others, so options are assessed against your design, quantity and intended market.

Shape & Size

Discuss proportions, pose, panel construction and target dimensions. Small details may need a different treatment when a character is reduced to a keychain or enlarged into a cushion.

Fabric & Colour

Compare the look and feel you want with material availability, pile direction and colour requirements. Custom colours and specialist fabrics need their own sourcing assessment.

Faces & Surface Details

Embroidery, printing, appliqué and sewn panels offer different ways to express a face, logo or pattern. Choose the method around the artwork and how clearly it needs to read.

Filling & Feel

Describe whether the product should feel soft, firm or more structured. The filling approach and sewn shape should be reviewed together in a physical sample.

Clothing & Attachments

Outfits, loops and ordinary accessories can be discussed with the main design. Their fit, attachment and suitability for the intended use need to be assessed before production.

Labels & Packaging

Brand labels and packaging can be planned around your design and market requirements. Specific formats, artwork, quantities and supply conditions are confirmed for the project.

Have a special function in mind? Sound, lighting or electronic components require a separate review. Weighted, scented, magnetic or heated products are not presented here as standard options. Describe the requirement before making a sample or delivery assumption.

04 / From brief to bulk

How To Get Custom Plushies Made

Begin with a clear project brief, work through the sample and confirm the order requirements before bulk production. The detail of each stage depends on the product.

  1. Share The Brief

Send your design or reference, intended size, estimated quantity, use and destination market. Include the date you need to receive the goods, if known.

Clarify: what must be preserved, what is flexible and which details are still undecided.

  2. Assess The Design & Sample Scope

Discuss construction, materials and decoration, together with the information needed for a quotation. Sampling fees, revision scope and timing are agreed for the project.

Clarify: the sample specification and how feedback will be collected.

  3. Review The Physical Sample

Check proportions, expression, colours, feel, dimensions and attachments. Agree any revisions and identify the version approved for the order.

Clarify: the final product, label, packaging and applicable testing requirements.

  4. Confirm The Bulk Order & Delivery Plan

Confirm quantities by design or version, approved specifications and commercial terms. Production, inspection, packing and transport are planned against the agreed requirements.

Clarify: the production start conditions and the difference between shipment and arrival dates.

05 / Understand the order conditions

MOQ, Sampling & The Cost Of Custom Plush

Custom orders start from 1 piece. There is no ready stock, and a single piece follows the same sampling or production path as a larger run; sample fees and production time are confirmed for the project. Share your intended quantity early so the product and sourcing requirements can be evaluated together.

What Affects The Quotation And Production Plan?

Pattern complexity, material and colour minimums, decoration setup, accessories and packaging can each affect the practical order quantity. A total split across several designs or colours needs a breakdown by version.

Ask about your proposed quantity rather than assuming all versions can be combined. A repeat order also needs its materials, approved version and production conditions reconfirmed.

What Belongs In A Quotation?

  • Product format, size, materials and decoration
  • Quantity for each design, colour or version
  • Sample development and agreed revisions
  • Labels, packaging and any testing requirements
  • Transport scope, destination and required arrival date

These details help separate the product price from development, packaging and delivery costs.

Planning a launch or event? Allow for design decisions, sample review, material sourcing, production and transport. A requested arrival date needs a project-specific feasibility check; it is not the same as an ex-factory date.

Custom Plush Questions

Practical answers for choosing a starting point and preparing your first discussion.

Where Can I Get A Custom Plush Toy Made From My Design?

You can discuss design-to-sample development and bulk production with Orui Toys. Share your artwork or reference, intended size, quantity and use. The first step is to assess the design and order conditions, rather than selecting a stock product for immediate checkout.

Can I Order Just One Custom Plushie?

Our service focuses on sample development leading to bulk orders for brands and businesses. A development sample is part of an assessed project; it is not advertised as a one-off personal gift service. Share your intended order quantity so its feasibility can be reviewed.

Do I Need A Finished Design Before Contacting You?

No. A drawing, a physical sample or a clear description with references can be a starting point. Additional views, dimensions and detail decisions may be needed before sampling. If you need original character creation, its scope, fees and ownership must be discussed separately.

What Is The Difference Between A Custom Plush Sample And A Bulk Order?

A sample helps you review the product’s shape, materials and finish. A bulk order produces the agreed quantity against approved requirements. Sample fees, revisions, approval and bulk-order conditions are separate matters to confirm before moving from one stage to the next.

Can A Drawing Be Reproduced Exactly In Plush?

A flat image must be translated into a three-dimensional sewn product. Very small features, complex outlines or colour details may need adjustment for the chosen size and material. Identify the characteristics that must remain recognizable, then review the proposed treatment in the sample.

Can I Combine Several Designs Or Colours In One Order?
Can You Add Our Brand Labels And Packaging?

Brand labels and packaging can be discussed as part of your custom soft toys project. Share the artwork, required format and destination market. Availability, quantities, cost and any information required on the product or packaging are confirmed before the order is finalized.

What Should I Tell You About The People Using The Product?

Tell us the intended use, age group and sales market at the brief stage. These details affect materials, construction, attachments, labels and the testing plan. Special functions and products intended for very young children need a separate assessment; a sample photograph does not establish compliance.
