Comparison
How The Seven Forms Compare
The fastest way to choose is to start from how the soft toys will be used, not from the shape alone. The table shows what each form is usually chosen for, and what has to be settled before a sample is cut.
| Form | Usually Chosen For | What Decides The Sample | Watch For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Character &Amp; Mascot | Brand mascots, event characters, retail ranges | Face construction, outfit pattern, accessory attachment | Losing the likeness when 2D art is flattened into panels |
| Stuffed Animals | Toy ranges, nature and education themes, gift lines | Proportions, pose, fur direction, standing or sitting balance | Plastic eyes and small parts change the age grading |
| Anime &Amp; Game | Licensed merchandise and fan collections | Hair volume, face embroidery, print placement, outfit panels | Rights: we only develop characters the buyer is licensed to use |
| Plush Dolls | Collectible dolls, dress-up ranges, gift sets | Body proportion, clothing construction, joint or frame option | Clothing tolerances and small removable parts |
| Keychains &Amp; Charms | Retail add-ons, event giveaways, bag charms | Finished size, hardware type, attachment strength | Plating, edges and pull strength on small items |
| Backpacks &Amp; Bags | Children’s and teen ranges, gift-with-purchase | Lining, opening size, strap anchors, hardware | A bag is judged against bag requirements, not toy requirements alone |
| Pillows &Amp; Cushions | Home and gift ranges, character cushions | Filling, panel shape, shape retention, packing compression | Fabric and filling decide how the shape recovers after shipping |

Sample References, Not An Online Catalogue
This page is a guide to product forms, not a shop. Individual product records for these categories have not been published, so the photographs show sample pieces that explain form and construction. They are not item listings with a price, a stock count or a cart. Once a design is agreed, the item is produced for that project.
Custom orders start from 1 piece, with no ready stock; a single piece still goes through sampling or production, and cost and lead time are confirmed for the project..
If you are still at the idea stage, the Custom Plush overview explains how a design becomes a sample, and costs, samples and MOQ sets out what drives the quote.
Seasonal theme
Christmas Plush Across The Seven Forms
A Christmas plush toy is usually one of the seven forms with a seasonal theme applied: a character in a Santa or snowman outfit, a reindeer or polar-bear animal, a doll with a festive wardrobe, a keychain made for gifting, or a hanging ornament for a tree or a shelf.
The theme changes outfits, colours and accessories; what can be made, and how, is confirmed per design. Seasonal pieces are developed per project and confirmed on a sample, so bring the form and the date you are working towards.
Start from the form that matches the piece: character, animal, doll, keychain or cushion.
Project route
Corporate And Promotional Plush
Corporate and promotional work runs across the same seven forms. Brand mascots, event giveaways and staff gifts are quoted from the item, the branding, the quantity and the date the delivery has to land.
If the project is corporate or promotional, start with the form that matches the item and include the event date, quantity and branding in your request. The project route is Corporate & Promotional Plush.
Process
From Artwork To Approved Sample
- Send what you have. Artwork with front, side and back views, a physical sample, or a reference photo. Include intended size, use, market and quantity.
- Feasibility and pattern. We check what can be sewn, where the seams will land, and which details have to change. A pattern is built from the approved view.
- Sample. A sample is made and reviewed. Face, outfit, filling and hardware are agreed on the sample before production.
- Production. The approved sample becomes the reference for the bulk run. Labelling, packing and any testing are agreed before production starts.
Pattern making, sewing, filling, embroidery, printing and cutting sit inside Orui’s production system, with partner capacity for embroidery, printing and part of sewing. Orui coordinates sampling, production scheduling and delivery for the project. More detail is on How we work.
Questions
Questions Buyers Ask Before Choosing A Form
Can I Buy The Products Shown On This Page?
The images show sample pieces used to explain each form, not individual product listings. There is no price or stock count attached to them. Send your design and we will quote the item that would be made for your project.
Can I Order A Single Piece?
A A single piece is a custom order, not a retail purchase: it still goes through sampling or production, and cost and timing are confirmed for the project.
Do You Make Licensed Anime Or Game Characters?
Only where you hold the rights. Send the artwork together with your authorization or a statement of the rights you hold. We do not reproduce third-party characters without it.
How Do I Choose Between Two Similar Forms?
Choose by use. If it has to carry something, it is a bag. If it hangs from a clip, it is a keychain. If it is filled to sit flat on a sofa or a bed, it is a cushion. If it has a body with its own clothing, it is a doll; if the design is your brand’s character or mascot, it is a character plush.
What Drives The Price?
Size, panel count, fabric choice, embroidery and print coverage, hardware, packaging, quantity and any testing required for the market. Two designs of the same height can quote differently for those reasons.
Send Your Artwork. We Will Confirm The Form And Quote.
Tell us the form, the size, the market and the quantity. If the form is still open, send the design or a photo and we will name the closest match before a sample is quoted.
