Shipping & Delivery
How a custom plush order reaches you: the time needed to make it, the transport method, the freight cost and the handover at the other end.
Custom-made from 1 piece. No ready-to-ship stock. Sampling or production is required before dispatch.
Production Time And Shipping Time
Every Orui Toys order is made to order, including a single custom piece. A delivery plan therefore has to cover sampling where it applies, production, the agreed checks, packing and transport.
Production lead time and transit time are separate clocks. The production schedule follows the approved specification, quantity, materials, packaging, checks and agreed order conditions. Freight timing follows the route, the service, customs processing and the delivery arrangement at your end.
Send the arrival date you are working to when you enquire, and the project can be assessed against it before a schedule is confirmed. Choosing a faster transport service does not shorten the time needed to make the plush.
Design And Sample Approval
The specification, materials, colours and construction are closed on an approved sample where one is required.
Production Scheduling
The schedule is set from the conditions agreed in the order confirmation, not from the first enquiry or a verbal yes.
Checks Before Packing
The inspection points agreed for the order are completed before units are packed.
Packing
Cartons, units per carton, labels and carton marks follow the approved packing specification.
Transport And Clearance
The booked service sets the route, the port or airport handling and the clearance steps.
Final Delivery
The delivery leg depends on the service and the delivery term agreed in the quotation.
Request a transit estimate for your destination. The estimate depends on the route, the booked service and the season, so it is prepared for your shipment rather than published as one number.
Compare Shipping Methods
The three options below are a starting point for a quotation. The available route, the service scope and the transit estimate are confirmed for your shipment and destination.
| Method | Advantages | Limitations | Recommended Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Express CourierDoor-to-door delivery where the booked service provides it. |
|
| Samples, single custom pieces and small urgent shipments once production is complete. |
| Sea Freight (LCL Or FCL)LCL shares container space; FCL uses a dedicated container. |
|
| Larger custom plush orders with enough time before the required arrival date; compare the full landed cost, including local handling. |
| Air FreightCargo moves by air; airport handling and delivery beyond the airport are separate arrangements. |
|
| Time-sensitive or higher-value cargo whose size and deadline justify air freight. |
Express courier and air freight are different services. An air freight quotation does not automatically include delivery to your address: confirm the collection point, the arrival airport, the clearance arrangements and who covers the final leg.
Availability, size and weight limits and destination restrictions are checked per shipment. Sea freight is quoted on the LCL or FCL service you choose, and the comparison should use the complete delivered cost rather than the freight rate alone.
How Freight Costs Are Calculated
A useful estimate needs the destination, the shipment and the packing. The items below are what the first calculation is built on.
- DestinationCountry, city and postal code, so the route and any remote-area surcharge can be checked.
- Shipment sizeQuantity, carton count, packed carton dimensions and gross weight.
- Product bulkFinished plush dimensions, especially for large or low-density designs.
- TimingThe arrival date you are working to, so production and transport can be assessed together.
- PackingBagging, vacuum compression, inner boxes, labels and carton marks you need.
- TermsThe delivery term you want to work on, and whether you nominate your own forwarder.
Plush is light for its volume. Express and air freight charges can use volumetric, or dimensional, weight when it is higher than the actual weight. The carrier’s formula and the final packed dimensions decide the chargeable weight. Sea freight is priced on the booked LCL or FCL service.
Ask which costs the quotation covers: collection, export handling, main carriage, destination handling, customs clearance, import duties and taxes, and the final delivery. The delivery term in the quotation and the PI fixes who arranges and pays for each part. Door-to-door transport does not automatically include duties and taxes.
The transport method and the agreed delivery term are confirmed separately. The quotation states what it covers for insurance, customs clearance, duties and taxes, and which side carries each responsibility. A DDP arrangement is confirmed only for each shipment, after the destination’s compliance, tax and clearance arrangements are agreed.
Packaging And Freight Handover
Packing has to suit the approved design and the transport method. Carton dimensions, units per carton, labels and carton marks are fixed in the packing specification. If you have a receiving requirement, send it before packing is finalised.
Vacuum packing is available and is assessed per design. Compression can affect how some plush look or recover, so the method is checked against the toy, its accessories and the presentation you need.

You can nominate your own forwarder. The collection or handover point, the documents, the packing information and each side’s responsibilities are agreed for the shipment before dispatch.
Batteries, electronic components or other accessories need a separate transport review before the packing method and the service are fixed.
Shipment Updates And Delivery Questions
What you receive depends on the booked service. Express parcels usually carry parcel tracking, while air and sea freight move on transport references and milestone updates. The shipping plan states which records are available and who coordinates the updates.
If a shipment is late, or arrives damaged or short, send the order reference and the transport records you have. Keep the outer carton and photograph the carton, the labels and the affected units, so the issue can be checked against the approved order, the packing record and the transport evidence.
We review the available order, packing and transport records with you to assess the issue and agree the next steps.
Shipping And Delivery Questions
Can You Ship One Piece Straight After I Order?
We make custom plush from one piece, but we do not hold ready-to-ship stock. A single piece also goes through sampling or production before it can be dispatched. Costs and lead times are confirmed for the project.
Which Shipping Method Should I Choose?
Express is a practical starting point for samples and small urgent parcels. Sea freight usually suits larger volumes with a flexible schedule. Air freight can shorten transit compared with sea freight when the budget allows. Compare the total delivered cost, the packed size, the route and the date you need.
Can You Guarantee An Arrival Date?
Tell us the date before the order is confirmed so production and transport can be assessed together. Any timing commitment has to be agreed for that project and service. Customs processing, carrier changes and route conditions can still affect arrival.
Is Shipping Included In The Product Price?
Check the written quotation. Product pricing, packing, freight and destination charges depend on the agreed scope, so ask for a breakdown before the order is confirmed.
Can You Arrange Delivery With Duties And Taxes Included?
Ask us to assess the destination and the service scope you need. Any arrangement that covers import clearance, duties or taxes has to be confirmed for that country, shipment and service provider. It is not included automatically.
Can I Use My Own Freight Forwarder?
You can nominate a forwarder for the project. The collection or handover point, the packing information, the documents and each side’s responsibilities are agreed before dispatch.
Discuss Shipping For Your Project
Send the design or product reference, the quantity, the destination country and postal code, the arrival date you need and any packing requirement. Add a preferred method or forwarder if you have one, and production and freight can be assessed together.
Production planning, inspection points and change control sit on Production & Delivery. Material and packing options are covered on Materials & Customization Options.
