The body is a single rounded volume with fins added as separate pieces, which keeps the silhouette clean at purse scale. The zip follows the mouth line, so its position sets both the opening and the face. We agree body width, fin size, dot density and the zip path with you, then check the embroidered tail accent on the sample. Send an animal idea, artwork or reference and the pattern is prepared for your project; the pieces shown are references and fabric, size and hardware follow your brief.

The zip and the mouth are the same line, which is the idea that makes the purse work. We agree where the zip starts and ends, whether the puller sits at the head or the tail, and how the tape is finished at both ends so the opening looks deliberate.
Fins are separate pattern pieces and their proportion sets the species. We compare dorsal, side and tail shapes against the body width, because oversized fins on a small purse make the animal look like a different creature.
Dots carry the pattern and the cost. We review whether they are embroidered, appliquéd or printed, their density, and how they behave across the curved seam. Send the animal, the size, the colourways you want and the market, and the construction and sample plan are confirmed with you.
The image set includes a design-to-sample board with printed badges, a four-colour range arranged together and a three-part detail view with supplier annotations. The printed text and callouts are supplier material, not confirmed specifications for your order.
